ABOUT US

We are a growing organisation, based in the south side of Glasgow, which is passionate about getting people singing!

The Voice Project exists to enable people to find their voices and be part of a singing community. We believe that every person has a God-given voice, which, when found and released, can promote physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, increase a sense of self-confidence and, when joined with others’ voices, can provide opportunities for connection and community.

Singing is proven to be good for your mental health and we believe that anyone can learn to sing. Why not come and join us? We have a variety of choirs which operate in a variety of places - youth choirs, school choirs and community choirs primarily aimed at adults. Contact us to find out more.

The Voice Project is run by Jenny Cheung, a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) who has many years’ experience of both singing in and directing all kinds of choirs. The Voice Project partners with SU Scotland in offering four high-quality singing residential holidays each year. This includes a leadership stream for young people wanting to develop their skills and potentially start their own choirs.
